Massage improves blood and lymph circulation, reduces nerve irritation and brings fresh oxygen and other nutrients to affected tissues. Massage causes the body to produce fewer stress hormones and can also increase the bodys production of pain-killing endorphins and the mood-altering hormone serotonin. Its therapeutic uses are to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm and stress while promoting relaxation and well being
Financial Details:
Very few insurance companies cover massage on an out of network basis (see "financial information"). However, we have very reasonable prices: $35 for 30 minutes, $50 for 60 minutes; we also have electrical stimulation which is $35 for 30 minute.
